Feng shui is an ancient art and science of directional energies and "vibes" that we receive from the environment that we live in, either from our home or office. It is an art focused simply around balancing chi, the energy present throughout the world.

Few questions to consider:

Are you aware that you could be inviting bad luck, bad health, and misery toward you without your knowledge?

Do you understand what feng shui is and how the geo-magnetic vibes work?

Do you know that you can harness the immense potential of Feng shui to magnetize your home and office for health and wealth?

This article will cover basic feng shui technique that you can easily apply in your home - how to make a feng shui fountain.

A feng shui fountain can calm our spirit with its delicately flowing water and pristine beauty. You can easily transform any spot in your home or flower garden into a tranquil haven by installing a calming water fountain. A feng shui fountain brings harmony to a room through the soft white noise it creates. A white noise is the neutralizing factor to the chaos that is inherent in busy working places.

And one of the primary tenets of feng shui is balance which is vital to living a good life. Having said the above, bringing in the water element inside by making a table-top water fountain can be your first step in feng shui.

Below are some instructions from designer expert Ingrid King. Be inspired to undertake this project after reading how easy it is to create your very own feng shui water fountain.

To get started, you will need the following materials:

Watertight container and a pump (available at most craft supply stores or from pond supply stores) with water flow control

* A sturdy plastic container, cut to fit over and protect pump assembly Tubing, black or clear * Pieces of pre-cut PVC pipe * Plastic embroidery grid, cut to fit fountain container * Window screen, cut to fit fountain container * Marbles, river rock, beach rocks, polished pebbles, pink quartz or flagstone Copper elbow to direct water

First, you'll want to place the pump in the bottom of the fountain's base and cover the pump with a sturdy plastic container, with places cut out on the sides for the cord to run through and for the water intake as well as a place cut out of the top for water outflow. The plastic container will protect the pump from the weight of the heavy rock. Add a length of tubing to the pump outlet.

Next, you want to surround the plastic container with PVC pieces and place a piece of plastic embroidery grid (you can get from any craft store) and a piece of window screen (from any hardware store) on top of the PVC pieces. You want to make sure the pump tubing extends through the top of the grid and screen.

Now the fun begins! Place the decorative filler material (rocks, pebbles, etc.) on top of the window screen. Use any material that won't fall apart over time.

Everything is starting to come together. Add the copper elbow to the end of the tubing, directing it so that the water flows where you intend it to flow, and then conceal the tip with another decorative rock. Fill the container with water and plug in the pump.

Stress affects most of us, and life can is filled with external and internal noise which we can easily find balance by bringing in an element of Feng Shui as simple as a water fountain. Understanding the science and mystery behind these unseen energies can make your personal and professional life more fulfilling and prosperous.

by Amy C.

What to Paint? The results of a wrong choice can often lead to frustration, disappointments, and even expensive setbacks in completing the project on-time and on-budget.

There are important differences between enamel and acrylic paints, including their chemical composition and also the types of surfaces that best accept their pigments and adherence, or "stickyness." Knowing which ones to buy for which projects will help you avoid trouble both during the project's execution and especially once it's completed.

Acrylic paint is water based

Acrylic paints are water-based, meaning they are essentially water with concentrations of a certain color's pigment. As the water evaporates, the pigment adheres to the painting surface.

Acrylic paints work best with relatively non-porous surfaces such as plastic and wood. It's also ideal when working on a project with children: its water base allows for easy clean up and removal with ordinary hot water and soap.

Primer goes on before acrylics

Acrylics almost always work best when the paint surface is prepared with one or more coats of primer. Primer is relatively cheap, typically available in white and gray shades, and can be found with the spray paint in both craft and hardware stores. Using darker color primer will give the acrylic paint coated atop it a darker hue, while white primer will give the paints a slightly brighter hue.

The right kind of Acrylic paint brands

There are four main brands of acrylic paint sold in crafts stores such as Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and A.C. Moore. These brands are Americana, Apple Barrel, Folk Art, and Delta Ceramcoat. Americana paints have probably the widest selection of colors, and their range of reds, browns, and yellows are the best in the industry. Ceramcoat has the best blues and greens, while Folk Art's slightly cheaper shelf price provides quality, especially with its broad line of metallic-finish enamel paints. Apple Barrel provides several hues of blue, red, and earth tones that the other lines do not.

Enamel paint is oil-based, sturdier, more tempermental

Enamel paint has oil as its main ingredient, typical of the kinds of paint used in fine arts painting and model-making alike. Enamel is more durable than acrylic paint, meaning it won't as easily chip or flake off. However, that virtue is also its greatest flaw.

Enamel paint works best with canvas and ceramic mediums, especially if treated with a glazing agent or sealant after the painting is completed. Enamel paint used on plastic sometimes never completely dries, remaining sticky to the touch long after the project's completion.

Painters working with enamel must use paint thinner (turpentine) to remove the paint from their skin and clothing. Finally, most brands of commercial nail polish are in fact the same kinds of enamel paints sold in hobby and craft stores.

Testors enamel paints are available in the model kit sections of most craft stores, as well as other brands in the fine arts sections. Prices vary, but enamel is typically more expensive per unit than acrylic.

Sealing acrylic paints

Hobbyists recommend using a fixatif, or sealant, to protect acrylic paints. The most popular brand, Testor's Dull-Cote, gives a matte finish and can be found in the model kit section near (ironically) the enamel paints. by Dylan Blue

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://artscraft-jack.blogspot.com/2009/07/what-to-paint-real-deal-on-enamel-and.html' title='What to Paint? When it’s so easy to just buy your candles in a shop, why on earth would you want to make candles yourself?

Well, that’s like asking why you’d want to do a painting yourself when you could buy a print and put it in a frame. Candle making is an art, with often beautiful results, not to mention the fun time you can have while you’re making the candles.

Candle making today belongs thoroughly in the arts and crafts category, which means that you can get all the equipment and waxes you’ll need from your local crafts shop.

To make a candle, all you really need to do is get some wax and melt it in a pan (you can even use wax from mass-produced candles if you can’t find any plain wax). Once the wax is melted, you can add dye if the wax isn’t already coloured. Then just put the wick (the string that burns) into a mould, pour in the wax and leave it to set. Again, if you can’t get a real candle mould, you can improvise with disposable household objects, such as half a milk carton or some other kind of bottle.

Of course, that basic method is just the beginning. Once you’ve got that down, you can start mixing different coloured waxes, and using more complicated moulds, and even adding things like glitter and other decoration. You can add small objects like shiny pebbles into the hot wax, or even cover larger objects in wax to make them into big candles. If you need more inspiration, the chances are that the craft shop (or the library) will have books about candle making, with more in-depth ‘recipes’ that you can either follow directly or incorporate in your own designs. by Gail DeMaria

Portland Maine Makes a Great Vacation Destination

Portland is located in Maine's southern coast is the state's largest city with plenty of things to do for the budget-conscious travelers. Often you will find that when crafts are made there is a specific purpose in mind, perhaps Christmas or Birthday presents, or just a simple thank you to a friend or relative. Many arts can be inexpensive and the real purpose behind the craft regardless of whether it is practical or for display is to offer something you have created by hand to a person who you think will appreciate the receiving of said craft.

A simple definition of crafts is a project that requires a step by step process to reach the required result. There are a multitude of forms of arts and crafts from paper folding, knitting, sewing, crocheting, beading or painting, the end result is the vision the creator had from the outset. There are many more different forms than these but this gives you an idea on what a craft can be considered. Crafts can give to children great assistance with creative skills allowing the children to learn from something they do and use their own creativity in producing a desired result.

Many crafts of course will require the initial purpose of the items involved, whether you are knitting and require knitting needles, wool and a pattern, or whether you are creating a collage requiring a base board, glue and materials for the collage. Some types of crafts of course will be more expensive to create than others but again this all depends on the purpose of creating the item and the intended recipient for which the craft is made.

You will find that there are many places you can purchase items for craft making, almost all malls or shopping centers will have a craft store of some sort where you can purchase most of the required items you will need. This does of course depending on the project you have in mind. The best way to start out is to use as much of your home materials as you can perhaps starting with a collage or similar and then lead on to further more creative and complex crafts as you see your children becoming more competent. There are many inexpensive options such as cutting up old magazines and perhaps the purchase of glue, beads and glitter etc that you can use for your initial projects and then your child will probably give you ideas on what form of craft they might want to proceed to next.

When you have the opportunity perhaps to work on crafts with your children you will find that while the event itself is fulfilling your children also improve their interaction skills and their creativity can begin to flourish. You may even discover your child is very artistic in one field or another. Add to that the sense of accomplishment your child will feel at completion of a task and you are on to a win-win situation.

Not only do you get to spend more time with your child but you find you will open avenues for discussion of every day events and you may find that you yourself enjoy the process just as much as it is benefiting your child. Not to mention the desired craft at the end of your endeavors.

When creating craft items this will improve the thinking and problem solving skills of your children as they themselves think of perhaps alternative crafts for your next project as well as ways to make your current project more eye catching or even more useful to your intended recipient. Making items also allows them to make small decisions of their own in the artistic content of whatever it may be you are creating which in turn gives them confidence and the ability to feel they have the ability to perhaps master larger tasks.

Building the self esteem and confidence in a child is a process learned over time and using crafts as a tool for your child to take part in the entire process and see the results is a great step in assisting in this area of your Childs growth. Make sure that your child is involved in the entire process from what the craft will be or how it will eventually look and give them the freedom to express their creativity. You will only reap benefits in time spent with your children and their opportunities to learn. by Michiel Van Kets

Make Your Next Family Vacation a Cruise

Taking a cruise vacation is different from your usual vacation destinations. Are your kids tired of going to water parks or amusement parks? If this is the case then maybe your family is ready for a cruise. Included in what you pay for the cruise are your accommodations, meals, entertainment and activities. You will encounter few out-of-pocket expenses, which makes it easy on the budget. This gardening craft has been in existence for the past two millenniums and today, more and more people have tried their hand at making bonsai gardens. When you want to create one, you should remember that it takes a lot of effort and patience to make a real bonsai garden. But that's the price one has to pay for such a magnificent work of art.

Starting up

The first thing one has to do is to find the perfect place to make a bonsai garden. It has to have enough sunlight and air, but should not have too much exposure. Decide on which kind of bonsai tree plants you want to include in your garden. There are outdoor bonsai and indoor bonsai. Factors such as humidity, temperature and sunlight exposure should be taken into consideration when deciding on which bonsai tree plants you want to have.

Looking after your bonsai

A bonsai needs to be watered every day or two, depending on the garden's environment. Watering should be done right after sunrise or just before sunset, as these are the best times of the day to water them. Too much or too little water can cause the plant to die, so extra care should be given when watering plants.

Putting fertilizer is also necessary to make the bonsai healthy. As a general rule, fertilizers should be placed on the bonsai after it has been watered. Since bonsai needs to be transferred to another pot at certain time intervals, you should know that it is not advisable to put fertilizer right after repotting.

Bonsai styles

There are numerous styles for trimming and shaping bonsai. These include: formal and informal upright, slant, group, full cascade, semi-cascade, literati, root, multi-trunk, raft, broom, and grow-in-a-rock style. You can choose a variety of these styles for your garden to make it more beautiful and artistic.

I hope you found this article helpful. After careful research along with some trial and error, I have come up with 3 sure fire ways to make money from your art, that are bound to help you if you put them into practise.

#3 Smart Ways To Make Money From Your Art

1. Sell your art online and have royalties come in for years to come

2. Sell your art tution to students willing to learn "how to..."

3. Other people sell your art & art tution

So how is it done?

#1 Sell your art online - collect royalties for years.

This is my preferred Smart Way No#1 as it has a payoff that just keeps coming, for me personally 4 times a year I receive a royalty check for work done over 10 years ago. This is a very smart way to make lots of money from your artwork, but you have to know what you are doing before you can guarantee success with this method.

Who Will Pay For My Artwork? What are the Markets? First and foremost you need to work out which markets are going to be interested in your artwork. Do you like to paint landscapes? Or animals? Or cartoon characters? Or Cars & Bikes? Or Nudes? Or abstract? Or caricatures?

Each of these have different markets that can be exploited for royalties for years to come. Some of the distributors of such art are: jigsaw puzzle companies, computer and cell phone wallpaper companies and homewares companies, are 3 goldmine areas to explore. Each of these different markets rely on fresh and inventive artists like yourself to come up with more "PRODUCST" for them. That is right, you are the product creator, they are the marketers. That is how it works.

Let me give you an example:

Several years ago I was approached by a jigsaw company in Australia "Blue Opal Jigsaws" and asked if a piece of artwork I had already made for a former client who allowed me to retain copyright of the original and profited from, could be reused for a new jigsaw they had planned.

After careful negotiations I was offered $1,500 for some slight modifications to the artwork and a 7% royalty, payable quaterly for the life of the product.

I currently recieve approximately $3,000 annually from this one puzzle that keeps on selling over and over. I will give you a hint - it is in the souvenir/tourist category (this market never gets tired of buying your product, because they are a new breed every year, as most people take that big overseas holiday perhaps just once in their lifetime and so they want something classic to remember their trip by) which is the perfect market for a repeat sale of your product. You don't want to choose something that is contemporary if it is longevity is your aim, as it will eventually lose steam and fade out of existence.

Here's an another example:

Visit all the pop culture websites and make a list of the coolest people (celebrities of course!) and create cool caricatures of them(just Google celebrity and follow the leads). They need only be head and shoulders, (face really - you will see why in a minute). Each different subculture idolizes a different mob of heros, so get your mind into their space, in fact MySpace is a great place to start. Learn your market, think like your market and create what you would want if you were them instead of you. It takes a little time but well worth it when you read this next sentence.

Each year the mobile phone ringtone industry sells $7,000,000,000 dollars worth of ringtones to young people around the world. This market has tons of disposable income (mummy and daddy are paying for the house, food, transport and general upkeep) so they love to spend their time (also tons to spare) with friends online and on their cell phones. Guess what they love to spend their spare cash on - "Wallpapers". For those of you youthfully challenged readers are probably wondering what's a Wallpaper and why would they buy it?

A wallpaper for a cell phone or mobile phone is the display image on the full color screen on the phone itself. The picture is small so a celebrity head that fills the screen is going sell better than a whole body, so less work to do (this is easy if you know the secrets to a quick and cool caricature).

Wallpaper sales are the next most popular download (read purchase$) next to cell phone ringtones, so you can see it is a huge market. Yes I hear you say but how do you sell to this young lot, isn't the market saturated with products like this? Well yes there is competition like any field but you only need a small piece of a very big pie to feed the family as they say.

You could setup your own website, (more info on doing this correctly below) and draw in traffic by giving away 5 free wallpapers to members who register for your weekly newsletter (the one you send with your latest "pay for" caricatures, that is the who is hot and in the news this week, follow scandal websites for tons of ideas here!!!) and watch the income increase as your newsletter subscriptions increase. If only 4% of subscribers bought your latest celebrity caricature of the week for .99c and you had a subscriber list of 50,000 you would be $1,000 a week better off.

Work once and get paid many, many times now that is smart.

#2 Sell Your Art Tution Onine - Everyone Wants To Learn How To.

Now the obvious suggestion here is to launch a website and setup a shopping cart and off you go to success, but if it were that easy then everyone would be doing it right? Exactly, so that is NOT what you are goint to do. You are going to set yourself apart from the herd and have people lining up for your tution and keep on paying you forever, or as long as your art teaching is popular.

So how is this going to be done?

Everybody loves to watch don't they? Yes, they love to watch others and see if they can pick up some tips on how they are doing their magic, whether it is oil painting a landscape in "plein air", sketching caricatures at a theme park, or creating fantasy art with 3D computer programes. Whatever your leaning towards, if you have mastered your craft then you can get people interested in learning your methods by this very simple technique, that doesn't cost you a cent.

A) Set up a Youtube account

B) Record yourself creating your art

C) Publish to Youtube some introductory video lessons

Once you have published your artwork on Youtube and all the other major video sharing sites, watch the traffic of visitors come in to your website to learn more. That is how it works for me, as some of my videos have had 50,000 viewings in less than a year. That is a lot of targeted traffic for your site and the "Full length videos on DVD delivered to your door - for $39.95" or the "ebook instant download version for $29.95". I personally have "How To...Products" that have been selling on an almost daily basis for months now and the best thing is the market is steady despite the economy being anything but.

#3 Get Other People To Sell Your Art & Art Tution!

This one is also a favorite smart way to make money by selling your art online. Creating art as in example #1 and then selling the tution in #2, sets you up perfectly for doing this - getting AFFILIATES to sell your artwork for you.

You see there are whole armies of folks selling things online to their audiences who login on regularly to the websites that they control. Most of their time is spent on creating content for blogs, answering forum posts and keeping the site up to date, so they have precious little time to do what you and I do - make art!

So those with the website visitors, (some popular sites have hundreds of thousands of unqiue visitors everyday) are in the perfect position to sell your wares, your artwork by commission, your art 'how to...' products. I personally have a long list of affiliates who are out there promoting my ebooks who only get paid IF they make a sale. Now that is my kind of workforce, no base salary, no holiday or sick leave to account for, only commisson on sale. It doesn't get any better than that.

Using the contemporary example above for cell phone wallpapers, you can approach hundreds of website owners with your - "this weeks best sellers celebrity caricature wallpaper" and have them sell for you on a royalty basis as well.

The limits to these lucrative areas are boundless and with your crazy artistic imagination you are going to do well to follow these 3 smart ways to profit from your art online. by Greg Gillespie

Premier Acting School in Los Angeles for Building Your Acting Career

Choosing the right film school is one of the key decisions you have to make for building a career in acting. Given the economic climate at the moment, everybody's looking for that extra value for money, and hunting for that bargain or two! The very first Belfast Shopping Festival runs throughout the month of April 2009, so if you are in Belfast make sure to drop along and get the chance to fill those shopping bags at great prices!

The plan of the Festival is to have a weekly focus on one of the main shopping areas of the city, throughout the month of April. There will be a proper festival feel to each area, with each area displaying street decorations, live entertainment and plenty of opportunities to win fantastic prizes and vouchers! And not only can you enjoy the shopping in Belfast, you can factor in some sightseeing as part of your visit, as you will be shopping in areas that have some very impressive historic buildings.

· Week beginning Monday March 30th - The Festival is concentrated on Bloomfield Avenue and Belmont Road. The Festival kicks off here in this area, and you can savour shopping at the brand new Connswater Shopping Centre, which houses over 50 stores in total at the retail park! Bloomfield Avenue is home to plenty of designer boutique stores and gift shops. The Belmont Road area has plenty of charming shops and restaurants, which give it a family type feel. Saturday 4th April sees the family day in the area, so it is a great day for the family to get together and shop and enjoy the sights.

· Week beginning Monday April 6th - The Festival is concentrated on the Belfast City Centre. There is a family day on Saturday 11th April in the city centre, which happens to be Easter Saturday! There will be plenty of offers and prices reduced in the stores, boutiques and restaurants of the city centre so get there early during this week! There are many high street shops that you can browse through from Donegall Place to Royal Avenue, or you can spend time in the Corn Market and picturesque Church Lane area, which will bring you to the wonderful Cathedral Quarter of the city.

· Week beginning Monday April 13th - The Festival is concentrated on the Lisburn Road and Ormeau Road. Again, Saturday April 18th is a fun filled family day. The chic galleries, shops, restaurants and cafes of the Lisburn Road are sure to attract the serious shopper! The Ormeau Road is not lacking in quality shopping outlets either!

The Ormeau Road area, which is close to the River Lagan area, has some wonderful boutiques, and plenty of trendy bars and eateries. Why not visit the delightful Ormeau Park, one of the oldest parks in the city. And if you venture to the Queens Quarter, close to Queens University, you will enjoy shopping at select stores along Botanic Avenue and Stranmillis Road.

· Week beginning Monday April 20th - The Festival is concentrated on the Falls and Shankhill Road areas. In reality, magazines run the gamut of the intellectual spectrum. Printed publications can be as lightweight as celebrity gossip rags to being as weighty as medical journals that communicate new scientific breakthroughs and discoveries.

In the medical community, doctors share new conclusions via journals. Here, the results of experiments, new surgical techniques, and successful procedural innovations can be communicated to peers. Journals have been the means for communicating fresh findings in medicine for decades, and they continue to be. Although online resources are growing, magazine printing remains the primary mode of communication for doctors and physicians to exchange ideas and announce new data.

Magazines can also be used to promote corporate interests, to communicate with potential donators, and reach small groups of people in hard-to-contact fields.

Industries and businesses use catalog printing and periodicals to sell seeds, get the word out on innovations, and share information from stock shifts to agricultural tips. In many industries, these are crucial ways to communicate information about new tools, technological developments, and manufacturing trends.

A recent movement is to reach a population for university donations is to have magazines printed to keep in contact with alumni and graduates. This serves a dual purpose: to inform alumni of upcoming and recent events and retain a relationship with graduates. In doing so, institutions of higher learning are able to maintain direct contact with potential donation dollars.

The breadth of audience for a magazine spans populations of large, heterogeneous groups to smaller, lesser-known special interests. Catalog printers create generic gossip rags carefully market to a wide audience of women from all economic classes and ages. Blurbs, snapshots, and "hooks" are splashed across covers to intrigue readers in grocery market aisles.

Niche craft markets reach knitters, spinners, bead artists, and quilters through the printed medium. Within these communities, magazines connect readership from small towns to big cities. In addition, these small artistic communities who may be less web-savvy may be reached via printed journals. From sharing patterns to marketing new materials, these periodicals have revitalized arts and crafts communities, bringing them to younger audiences and wider groups.

The magazine industry is a valuable tool for business. Through its use, industry, education, and community can connect via data and information. by John L. Some prefer to use the local hobby shop to gain information about a craft project and others find that the local library is a wealth of information that is free if some time can be devoted to researching a subject or two. Photo and crafts ideas can be found in the oddest places and the crafty minded person is sure to spot them as they come upon them during time away from home.

* Many craft magazines are financially sponsored by home arts organizations and the publication will offer prospective customers a free trial period. Many people take advantage of these free offers just so they can test out the craft network and gain hold of a treasure trove of photo and craft ideas. Many are glad they did too. People generally love the upfront and personal approach to learning about crafts.

* When they can read about other people's experiences and see the work after a pattern has been finished, they seem to justify that they gain more information than if they had been reading a magazine in a local library. Starting a regular subscription to a craft magazine makes better sense if designing photo and craft ideas as a serious notion or hobby.

* The craft magazines are full of discussions about various applications that are sold individually on the market today. People can use this information to mount photographs for a specific project or discover how certain arrangements of photographs can make a dramatic difference in a finished project. These crafts magazines can also tell an artisan how to turn crafts into hard-earned dollars as a side business.

* This direct approach to photo and crafts ideas saves people time and money because mistakes are less frequent and questions are answered almost as fast as a person can read. Maintaining a subscription to various photo and crafts ideas magazines will also allow people to develop a library of informative ideas at home.

* A magazine subscription is a short-term, minor commitment for many but one that will save more money because the trips to the local library become less frequent and the ready source of information will be a bonus more than one time during the craft maker's creative life span.

* Some photo and crafts ideas begin at home and will remain personal until the project is shared with other people. People have many options with photos and the crafts projects that are made with them. A person might decide to make a quilt using photographs that are ironed onto a panel. They might like to personalize each quilt block with the handprint of a child that was at one time a cherished photograph on the mantle.

Some families like to convert photos into stamps and place these items on mail that is sent from the home each day. The most common use of photo and craft ideas come when a scrapbook is created. Various photographs in the past have been mounted on colored papers of various qualities, and trimmed with any number of trimmings ranging from ribbon to shredded paper. Most photographs and craft ideas for scrap booking come from the craftsman, who enjoys experimenting with each layer on the page. by Jim Brown

Types of Crafting Businesses to Start at Home Today

A craft home business is the ideal business enterprise for people who love arts and crafts. Maybe you are good with your hands and looking for something to do in your spare time that will be relaxing and rewarding, anything from making Free Paper Models of Vehicles to Models of Red Cross Vehicles. Well then, perhaps you should try what so many people are doing these days and try joining the Models Vehicles Fad.

There are so many great plastic model kits available today replicating many of the hottest vehicles around and your finished product will look exactly like a miniature of the real thing. And the best part is that you will have created something yourself and you will be proud to show it off! Not to mention that the Models Vehicles Culture is an entire unique group in and of itself.

Years ago, there probably were very few boys around who didn't enjoy building models of cars and airplanes. Then in the 70's, computer games hit and a new generation of young people were hooked. As a result, the wonderful art of building models was put on the back burner for quite some time. Well, you might be surprised to know that there is now a renewed interest in this age-old hobby. While many young people are just starting out with this Models Vehicles Hobby, and are getting their first thrill of creating their own miniature version of an old fantastic car or an ultra-modern jazzy automobile, many baby boomers have now gotten back into it after so many years. Actually, it has become quite a fad!

There are now WebPages designed around the Models Vehicles Trend and many places where you can purchase these Model Kits online. There are blogs recommending the best kits and sites where you can chat with others and post photos, showing off your finished products. So you don't have a Ferrari? Well then maybe you will enjoy building your own. There are plastic models that you can buy with the classic shape of this great racecar with injection-molded parts marked with realistic surface details and a body cowl and nose section that can be removed so the internal details can be seen, just like the real thing!

Or maybe you have always been interested in a Model T, a car that became historic when it was discontinued in 1927, after nineteen years of production, marking the end of the first people's car. You can build your own from the inside out! It is not that hard if you have proper guidance. Maybe trucks are your thing. Well you are in luck because you can build your own original custom Big Deuce, including a custom grille, V-8 engine, magi wheels, spare tire, raised roadster top, custom firewall, wind wings, and much more.

So what are you waiting for? Designing a personal website to sell handmade crafts from home is one way to get noticed and bring in additional income, since millions of people around the country shop online every day. They're looking for goods, products and crafts.

Those who make crafts find that the many resources on the Internet turn out to be very valuable as well as convenient. Tools, beads in every color of the rainbow, design ideas and inspirations for crafts or other handmade items can be found on the Internet.

Purchasing goods from a craft website allows crafters to save money, since its possible to purchase large or bulk amounts at wholesale price. Both men and women can find a multitude of resources to sell their homemade goods online as well.

No matter what type of craft you design or sell, there is someone out there who will want to buy it. From crafters who create wood art to crafting jewelry by hand, listing it in auction sites or placing it online within your own personal webpage allows others to shop and purchase what they like.

Many shoppers like to find unique gifts to give friends and family, especially around birthdays and holidays, and look online to save the hassle of walking around the mall and still not being able to find anything.

In most cases, designing your own personal webpage to sell handmade crafts is free, but some of the more advanced sites will charge a fee for your domain name. Remember also that you may need to pay yearly fees for website registration.

There are a few things to remember when designing a site so that customers find it easy to navigate, shop and pick up those wonderful handmade items you've worked so hard to create.

The first thing to think of is accessibility. Since there are thousands of other pages selling crafts, you need to make yours stand head and shoulders about the crowd. It needs to be user friendly. Utilize optimized keywords and phrases to help search engines find you. Keep graphics and other extras to a minimum in order to cut down on load time.

Graphic load times should usually be under 10 seconds to accommodate anyone's Internet speed. The one thing Internet users hate the most is a long wait time for a website to load. They will promptly leave your page and move on to other sites.

Keep the pages looking professional. Selling arts and crafts is essentially your home business, so make sure that your site looks well maintained and offers a good indication of the quality of your work. Add contact information so that potential customers are able to reach you and ask questions about crafts prior to purchase.

Try and incorporate a way for customers to not only browse what you have in stock, but also to order and purchase online.

Today's Internet shoppers want to browse, shop, buy and pay for their goods at the same time, so offering easy and secure payment processing shows you are able to offer them full service for satisfaction.

The final step to making sure your arts and crafts sell successfully on the web is to market and advertise your goods. The creative bug takes over and the imagination climbs to new heights! As an educator for these young students we must find new ways or maybe old ones rejuvenated, to incorporate targeted goals while having fun. Some of the most incredible times evolve from the simplest activities created using home made mixtures.

Bubbles and more bubbles, whether blown through a straw or wire hoop, happen to be one of the most appealing summer time thrills in the preschool setting. A very easy but beautiful work of art comes from placing a narrow cup in the middle of a large piece of craft paper. Fill the cup with safe colorful bubble making ingredients and give the budding artist a straw. Have the student blow an overflowing amount of bubbles up and over the top edge of the cup. Watch out for the giggling that this activity could bring about or more than just bubbles will be on the craft paper. Variations to this activity include using several different colors of bubbles - allow the paper to dry between blowing sessions. Once the art has dried, decorate the walls with cut outs that reinforce your lesson plans. Using vanilla flavored pudding, add a couple of drops of food coloring to tint for a rainbow palette that will excite even the ficklest of artists. Again using craft paper, Cut out shapes that will supplement your chosen lesson theme. Paint the shapes and decorate with sugar 'glitter'. This has always brought about rave reviews. For more details pl visit the web site .

Preschoolers love to create clay style bowls to give as gifts. These items are among the most economical pieces a student can create that are three dimensional. Once you have chosen a favorite clay recipe and tinted it (unless the artist will paint the bowl when dried), assign a shape for the base. Example: If working on the square, have the student create a square base to build up the sides upon. The variations to this activity can include sensory items. Add small rough items to the clay prior to the building of the bowl or add peppermint oil to the clay for a sensory excitement explosion. This is an arty item that no one will every become tired of creating because of the endless variations.

Although these are truly fun and exciting activities, the possibilities are endless. Using the many home spun concoctions we can instill a love of creating while reinforcing the educational or developmental goals of the preschool aged students . Never forget that FUN is always a wonderful foundation to build upon! As we know arts and crafts play a very important role in the physical and mental development of preschooler kids , and thus it enhances the ability of creativity in the children .

For more details pl visit to www.100computertips.com OR www.divorce-rebuild-your-life.com By Bimla sheokand

The Information About Bonsai Trees

While the origins of how to build and encourage a bonsai hierarchy come from China the actual name of the conserved foliage comes from Japan, in verity the word bonsai refers to a small sealed ranking.
